Café Rundblick

Came in for a quick refill while hiking and were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality of the kind lady who served us amazing black forest cake. Great ambiance and beautiful seating, 10/10 would recommend!

No experience regarding prices in black forest. Pension located in a cafeteria/ bakery. Very nice staff. Lady speaks English. Good breakfast. Free WiFi

Stayed here with some friends as we were motorcycling in the area. The area is beautiful and Baiersbronn is on the face of it a lovely German town (more on that later). Runblick is a dated hotel and this was reflected in the price of 37 euro's per night. We were able to park our bikes in the attached garage free of charge which was much appreciated. My room (a single) was very cramped and claustrophobic so I asked to be moved and after some initial confusion I did get a much nicer replacement room that was a double. The staff were attentive enough and kept the hotel clean. The breakfasts were basic but acceptable, the food was left often uncovered however and proved quite an attraction to flies. The wifi was terrible unfortunately and even in the communal area's it was intermittent. The view for the hotel is excellent but sadly is spoilt by what seems to be a small but main road that loops around the hotel with regular traffic throughout the day. The hotel appeared to be very quiet but then this is what I find strange about Baiersbronn generally.... everywhere was dead.... most shops were closed, in the evening no one was about and if you wanted a drink in the evening at Cafe Runblick or anywhere it proved quite difficult. Cafe Runblick was by all accounts, ok, the rooms were clean and tidy and staff helpful enough, if your requirements are basic then you will be OK.... as for Baiersbronn I'm still at a loss to why it was so quiet. By the way for a great evening meal work just along the road to Gasthof Rebstock.... excellent by all accounts.

Most delicious home baked Black Forest cake 🍰 with beautiful view into valley and black forests

I stayed here in February, they very kindly helped me out ( after my original booked accommodation was basically a scam) the family who run the hotel and bakery were extremely welcoming and friendly. I am looking forward to returning as soon as I can.

We stayed one night while hiking through the black forest. The room was big, comfortable, quiet with an access to a balcony. Breakfast was included with it which was wonderful and the reception was very friendly and welcoming, would recommend.

i came here for black forest cake but they are not available. since i have climbed up the slope. I might as well eat a piece of cake with my black coffee to enjoy the scenery. the cute girl was really friendly. love her attitude.

we were initially staying for 2 nights in Baiersbronn but having realised how much the town has to offer we extended our stay another night. This B&B was a great base for our trip. The rooms are spotless, a little basic but excellent value for money. The view across the town is spectacular. We were on a motorbike and were kindly given use of a garage at no extra cost. A simple but fresh continental style breakfast was provided each morning. The walk into town takes around 5 minutes and if you go a few minutes up the hill there are a great little selection of small pubs and restaurants. I would recommend checking out opening times of places that you are intending to visit beforehand. We came out of season and at points struggled to find places open, but we always managed and everywhere we did find turned out to be great
